12月3日—9日，全国音乐艺术院校图书馆“特色资源建设与新技术应用”研讨会于在广州星海音乐学院举行。我校音乐学院音乐图书馆馆长汪镇美和馆员纪力孔一行参加了本次会议。
会议围绕“专业图书馆特色资源与数据库建设”、“新技术应用与体验”、“专业服务功能的延伸与创意建设”和“馆际资源共建共享模式”等主题展开探讨。会议期间，汪镇美就＂中国音乐图书馆之间的共享共建＂为主题做了大会发言，并与音乐艺术院校图书馆各位领导及图书馆人员切磋交换了中国音乐图书馆建设相关具体事宜的意见。与会馆长在为期几天的馆长会议协商中取得重大突破，就成立“全国高等音乐艺术院校图书馆联盟”的决定达成协议，并一致同意由上海音乐学院副院长兼图书馆馆长杨燕迪教授为首届联盟主席。中国的音乐图书馆从此加入了国际音乐图书馆的大家庭。
本次会议由星海音乐学院图书馆主办，并得到了超星、风然等企业单位的赞助与支持。与会单位包括音乐学院图书馆及部分艺术院校图书馆、广州高校图书馆。各馆领导分别介绍了各馆的特色馆藏、馆藏建设概况、馆藏展览活动以及与特色馆藏相结合的学术活动。北京大学图书馆副馆长、中国联机编目中心（CALIS）领导人陈凌教授介绍了CALIS的结构与发展，表示CALIS将全力支持音乐图书馆联盟的各项联合项目，并期待与各音乐学院图书馆开展各方面合作。台湾师范大学黄均人教授及其助手曾子嘉研究员作大会报告，陈述了中华大地具有如此丰富的音乐资源却在国际音乐资源查询系统上缺乏认可和参与的事实，并具体介绍了如何推动华人音乐文献资料的共享共建，以及如何利用RISM （The Répertoire International des Sources Musicales－－International Inventory of Musical Sources,）这个平台来使中华民族丰富的音乐资料有“源”可查，能与世界共享。
会上，各馆长也针对目前各音乐学院图书馆之间合作中所出现的问题进行了讨论。讨论认为，目前阻碍各方合作的最重要问题是缺乏统一的编目标准，因此无法进行联机编目，给开展馆际互借以及资源共享造成了很大的困难。音乐学院图书馆的建设因此停滞于各馆独自奋斗、各奔前程，从而造成了重复劳动、交流不利，使得整体编目水平偏低，为国际交流造成了很大障碍。因此，与会馆长在馆长会议上达成共识：成立全国高等艺术院校图书馆联盟的首要任务是统一编目格式，建立和规范编目规则，改变编目规则混乱的状态，开发和充分利用各馆资源。与CALIS一起推动中国音乐类资料的编目自动化、专业化、标准化和国际化。汪镇美在会议上表示，苏大音乐学院图书馆全力支持联盟的决定，将充分发挥本馆的专业优势，积极参与到统一和规范我国音乐类资料编目的任务中来。
SUSM Music Library attended The National Conference of Music
and Arts Libraries
Soochow University School of Music Library director, Professor Zhen-Mei Wang
and her colleague Mr. Likong Chi attended The National Conference of Music and
Arts Libraries in the Xinghai Conservatory of Music, Guangzhou, December 3-9.
The conference focuses on the “Special collection development and the application
of new technology.” Professor Wang is invited to deliver a speech about the “The
Cooperation of the Chinese Music Libraries”. During the round-table discussion,
the music library directors have reached an agreement to establish “The Chinese
Music & Arts Library of Higher Education Association.” Professor Yan-di Yang,
Associate Dean and Music Library Director of Shanghai Conservatory of Music,
will serve as the chair of the association.
The conference is held at and sponsored by the library of Xinghai
Conservatory of Music. Most of the music and arts libraries in China attend this
conference. Several library directors from different music libraries have given
speeches to introduce their library’s collections and their area specialties.
Professor Ling Chen, Associate Director of Beijing University and Director of
CALIS (China Academic Library & Information System), introduced CALIS to
all the participants. He has also encouraged the cooperation among music
libraries and announced a full support for forming a league for all music libraries.
Professor Junren Huang and his assistant Ms. Zijia Zeng of Taiwan Normal
University, explained the lack of rich Chinese Music source and information in
the International comprehensively documenting extant sources of music
system -- RISM, （The Répertoire International des Sources
Musicales －－International Inventory of Musical Sources, founded in Paris,
located in Germany). They detailed the importance of Chinese speaking
country’s participation and the goal of co-construction and sharing with the
international music world.
Meanwhile, library directors from different music schools also express
their concerns from different aspects of the library operation, such as,
the lacking of cooperation between the libraries; un-centralized cataloging
standards and rules; little or no inter-library loan system between the music
libraries, etc. Therefore, the first and far more important mission of The
Association is to standardizing cataloging format and standards to facilitate
a centralized cataloging system for all music material in China.
