Two Research Projects of Soochow University Approved asCooperative Research Projects of NSFC and DFG in 2019

Recently, the approved list of cooperative projects of the NSFC and DFG has been officially announced. A total of 19 projects have been funded, among which two of them are from Soochow University.

 

The two approved projects of Soochow University are “Analysis of the Transcriptional Regulation Mechanism of D-box Enhancer in Optical-driven Biological Clock Traction and DNA Repair Declared” by Professor Wang Han, and “the Mechanism by Which Laminin Regulates Macrophages and Adipocytes Affects the Remodeling of Adipose Tissue in Obese Patients” by Professor Shi Yuhang.


According to the bilateral cooperation agreement, in 2019, the NSFC and DFG would jointly solicit and fund China-Germany cooperative research projects in chemistry, life science, management science and medical. Via application, a total of 166 applications were accepted. According to the evaluation results of China and Germany and through mutual consultation between the institutions of the two sides, 19 approved projects have been funded. The funding period is from January 2020 to December 2022.
