Content Summary:

After the birth of Chinese characters in China, from northeast China to Southeast Asia, a cultural circle of Chinese characters formed in history, with China as the core, especially extending to the surrounding areas such as The Korean Peninsula, Japan and Vietnam. These areas, at that time, are mainly agricultural ethnic groups, in the history of the unified use of Chinese characters, or combined with the national language used. Therefore, although the spread of Chinese characters to these countries has a history of nearly two thousand years, the cultural influence of Chinese characters still permeates Japan and the Korean Peninsula. In this sense, we can promote and construct a new East Asian community through cultural interaction centered on Chinese characters, which has much in common with the community with a Shared future for mankind advocated by General Secretary Xi.
