Brief Introduction to the lecture
With reference to Chinese and foreign literature and art works, this lecture will discuss different types of intermediality generated by research approaches, critics’ stances and aesthetic values and analyze the production process, momentum and cultural intervention of intermedia works.

Brief Introduction to the lecturer
Chengzhou He, PhD of the University of Oslo, is Yangtze River Distinguished Professor of English and Drama, School of Foreign Studies and School of Arts, at Nanjing University, China. He has published more than 10 books in Chinese and English with publishing houses both in China and in Europe. His articles have appeared in both Chinese and international journals, such as New Theatre Quarterly, European Review, Modern Fiction Studies, Comparative Literature Studies, Gender, Place and Culture, Differences: A Journal of Feminist Studies, Modern Language Quarterly, Neohelicon, and Comparative Drama. Foreign Member of Academia Europaea (the Academy of Europe). Former president of International Ibsen Committee.
